Lessons learned from the dentist chair:- Keep your ears open to pick up the names of the dental implements
- When the dental worker says you shouldn't chew gum, hard candy, nuts, or pencils, they mean it.
- Try not to scream if it hurts, it will be over soon!
- Crying will make them sorry for you, but it won't end the treatment
- Pamper your mouth when it's all over :o)
- Chew gum as soon as you leave the dentist office once your braces are off. It actually relives the after-effect pain!
- Thank the person who paid for the dental work, and send/give them an 'after' picture!
