Singing at Crossroads Village

Last Friday found the people of Five Lakes Fellowship, along with a few more friends, gathered inside the chapel at Huckelberry Crossroads Village. Mr. DeL conducted our singing, and we also presented some special arrangements for our audience. After singing we trooped off to the carosel, and then to the music hall for a really neat instrumental Christmas show. After the show, we parted ways, and we Marshalls, along with the DeL family and Andrea Yachanin, drove out to the Cenzer's residence for some pre-Christmas fellowship!

Visiting the Bullingers on Jefferson Rd.

David and Jen cordially invited us for dinner last week. We enjoyed some great food (homemade chicken pot pie, salad, and apple crisp), fellowship, and a movie(The Christmas Shoes). Thanks for having us over, David and Jen, it was a lot of fun! Posted by Picasa

Alliosn turns 22!

New green gloves!

Evvie made her a quilled violin ornament!

Why is she closing her eyes after blowing out the candles?

We celebrated Allison's 22nd birthday at Grandpa Marshall's this year. Allison chose Hot Chicken Salad, crescent rolls, cranberry relish salad, and lemon bars for the cake.

The Annual Gingerbread Fete!

This year, we made a gingerbread pastry shop, at Grandpa and Grandma DeRoo's house. THere used to be a French pastry shop in Romeo MI, owned by Monsieur Jean Marc. He made such delicious, authentic, French pastries! Believe me, doughnuts are nothing compared to fresh, French pastries! Jean Marc had to sell out a year or so ago, and we do miss his delicacies! So, in his honor, we built a pastry shop, complete with baker, pastries, and discarded donuts. We enjoyed a day with Grandpa and Grandma D, made cookies, helped with a sewing project, played music, and had a yummy dinner that evening.

The glass is steaming in the pot, and Annick puffs away at a long cookie.

Bubbly glass, it's almost hot enough to pour!

Ta-da! The windows are beginning to set.

Donuts do not sell quickly at pastry shops! So, we left them to the dog...
