Blueberry time!

We went blueberry picking with some friends
on Wednesday. Of course we sampled as we picked,
and after Evvie made banana-blueberry bread,
Mama froze the rest for later yummy delights!

The Thompson Bonanza!

...'nuff said...

The Thompson Family invited several other families
over yesterday for a day of fun and fellowship!
A lot went into the planning, and everything
went off without a hitch.
It was a perfect day weather-wise, and everyone
enjoyed the activites, food, and friends!
Thank you, Thompson Family!
You all did a marvelous job, and
we all enjoyed the wonderful day!

Grandpa Thompson manned the grill

People of all sizes roamed the property!

Check out the neat tent off the deck!

Moms: you know you've trained your children well...

...when they play 'school' for fun!!

I took their school picture, and after some
smile photos, I asked them to make funny faces :)

I'm not sure how many games of volley-ball were
played, but it was almost a non-stop sport!

Ice cream was served to help to cool
everyone down :)

Carrie gets to hold the baby
All the girls at the picnic oohed and ahhed over Bella....
...and their mothers did, too!

Mrs. Thompson proves she has not
lost her 'touch'...

...and Amber enjoyed Bella, too!

...the brand-new play set was well-used...

...lots of talking in between games and,
of course, eating...

Not quite sure what they-re talking about...
Jonny: "I used to be this tall."
Alex: "Really? Wow. You've grown then."

Nick liked the tree swing...

...the teeter-totters were well used...

...and the Bendixen Brothers played
some music in the evening!
Nick found a toy accordian and knew
exactly what to do with it...

ponies & pool

Olivia is the horse-lover, and everyone
had a chance to ride. Nick likes the fact
that the horses are his size!

We took the kids to a neighbor's pool
for some cooling-off time!
It was great to have the Vineckis stay overnight!
Looking forward to seeing you again!

They're Married!

Barak and Amanda Lee's wedding
was beautiful, and a lovely picture
of how a young man and young woman
should come together!
Through all the tough and easy times,
they were continually faithful to their
God and to their parents.
May their marriage be blessed!
