An evening with the Switalskis

Mama's highschool friend Debbie and her family
have settled in Arizona. We enjoyed a lovely
dinner and fellowship. The two boys, Jeff and Tim,
have cerebral palsy, but boy do they have sweet smiles!!

The Arts

As cameras weren't allowed in the museum
(where we experienced a showing of impressionistic paintings),
we had to content ourselves with photos
at the museum fountain....

"It looks like rain..."

This one was taken through the car
window as we drove through downtown Pheonix.

More Easter photos...

Our Arizona family includes Aunt Fran, Aunt Judy, Mrs. Shirley, and Mr. Scheelk.
They all joined us for a delicious Easter supper and dessert. :)

Easter Challah

I decided to make 3 loaves out
of the Challah dough instead
of one huge loaf :)

The recipe I used came from:

Dyeing the eggs

We tried a new technique for
decorating eggs this year.
Before you dip an egg, wrap a
rubber band around it. After
you get it colored in the right
shade take off the rubber band.
You'll have a nice pattern of white
rings left behind!

Evvie tried glueing tiny ortho
rubber band rings on her egg.
