Catrina is 14! :0)

We celebrated Catrina's 14th birthday
yesterday. Grandpa was invited, and
we had a yummy dinner and dessert,
and oohed and ahhed while Trina
opened her gifts.
Happy 14th Birthday
Catrina Bree!
We are so glad you
are part of our family!

The Wissmann Family- In Concert!

Last Sunday we eagerly climbed into the van, and drove
to Grand Blanc in anticipation of hearing the
Wissmann Family
sing in a town park.
We were so blessed! Their music is so
refreshing to the soul, and gives God the glory!

At the Music Barn

The Strubler family has turned their old barn into a place to show art, and give concerts! We drove over to their place on Saturday, to hear a great concert of lovely music by Theresa Dalton, Ann Strubler, and Steve Wheeler. We enjoyed the evening of music and fellowship with friends we haven't seen in a long while!

Janet- a local artist, who's art was featured in the Barn.

Happy 2-0, Annick!

As many of you know, Mama and Annick were in Arizona for a few weeks, while Mama's dad had thyroid-cancer surgery. We weren't able to celebrate Annick's big 2-0 on the real day, so we waited until they came home. For dinner we had Javanese Turkey, Scalloped Corn, Sparkling Juices, and Texas Sheet Cake for dessert.
We are grateful to have Annick in our family! She is so industrious, and is an excellent helping hand when one is needed!

Mirror, mirror, in her hand, she's one of the fairest in the land.

She's a bit boxed-in, at the moment...

Thank you all so very much....

We would like to thank all our family and friends who have sent cards, emails, and blog comments about our Mom/Grandma's journey home. All your love, thoughtfulness, and prayers, are a great blessing and encouragement to us. Thank you so very much!

What a glorious day it will be when Jesus' face we shall see,
The past faded away, and our night turned into day,
All that will fill our hearts and our eyes,
Will be our Lord Jesus, clothed with glory and praise.
