Mrs. Strubler with the Orchestra

On Monday night, between orchestra practices, we enjoyed an orchesrta etiquitte class by DSO violinist Ann Strubler. She answered questions from the audience, and explained how an orchestra and the conductor are acknowledged at the end of a performance. We Marshalls were so excited to see Mrs. Strubler, and so glad she came!
Check out the times for our next concert at www.lapeerorchestra.com !

Senor Shepardo and his Men of the Ar-tilla-ry.

Roll up your sleeves men!
Senor Shepardo is at the rolling pin!
To make 'tillas tasty,
Follow his orders, and be hasty!
For you our stomachs growling await,
To partake of 'tillas piled high on a plate.

Happy Birthday Mama!

Friday January 13, 2006 marked the birthday of our Mama. We had dinner at Chili's, and Mama ordered her same-o same-o (a Marshall saying): Southwestern Egg Rolls! On our return home, she opened her gifts. The next day we concluded the birthday celebration with Date Bars en Flambeau.
Happy Birthday Mama! We love you!

Love,
Papa, Allison, Annick, Evvie, and Catrina
