We combined Annick's 19th birthday and homeschool-highschool graduation into one event while Grandpa and Grandma Steere were here visiting. For dinner we had Javanese Turkey, Scalloped Corn Cassarole, Popovers, and cake with ice cream. Happy Birthday Annick! We love you! Papa, Mama, Allison, Evvie & Catrina
Annick wanted Angel food cake with whipped cream and chocolate sauce and big flames. Ta-da!
This year's excursion with Grandma varied from the usual outing to Talbot's Outlet. Instead, we headed for the CD department of Barnes and Noble, and spent many happy moments browsing through, and listening to all the CDs we found! All we had to do was slide a CD under one of the stations and put on the earphones to hear parts of each track.
So many CDs to choose from, so little time... After visiting B&N, we sat down to a yummy lunch at Chili's.
Being the photographer, I didn't make it into the photo, so my lunch had to substitute.
On Sunday afternoon, some of Grandpa and Grandma Steere's friends came over for a visit. The Albyns and their daughter Lisa used to have horses, so they enjoyed meeting Annick's herd. Grandpa and Grandma DeRoo came as well, and we had a nice visit.
The DeL family went to a family wedding in Ohio this past weekend, and Esther gave the charge of her dog Molly over to Catrina in their absence :) Molly is quite the cutie!

This week I "adopted" a 3 day old Rottwieler/Stradfordshire terrier mix. Her name is Emma. She's soo cute! I can't wait for her eyes to open!
Dixie poses in her new green sweater, a great deal from Coldwater Creek Outlet (our pets have real class) :)
We joined the little party at the Bullinger house to celebrate Mrs. Swartzendruber's birthday. Here Papa avoids a wet lick from Amos, which brought some laughs! A full house!
