An evening with children...

Catrina and I watched the Jaster boys
and their cousins last evening,
while the parents went out together.

David is SO cute!

And very well trained. He smiles at the camera!

We started out playing in the sprinkler,
which turned into a semi-tag game including
some bowling pins. They made it up themselves :)

Bobby and Mandy played Risk, and without a rule
book, I had to make some up. They seemed to enjoy
the game, and had fun attacking each other.
Sibling rivalry, you know. ;)

Scalps, scalps! 50 cents a scalp...

Annick was very resourceful this week. She took
an unsused horse tail from another horse (we have connections)
and made it into a tail extension for a horse at Banbury.
Neat, eh?

The Sterretts

On the 18th we went to see the famous Sterretts!
Evvie and I got to help them a little bit, too.

We even got to let the horses graze!

Mr.Sterrett trained a 8 year old mare that had
never been ridden. After Mr. Sterrett worked with
her for about an hour he was able to ride her!
