Laurie's Recital

As a family, we enjoyed going to the Character Inn, in downtown Flint, for Laurie Matheson's senior recital and open house. Her presentations were beautiful, and consisted of different piano pieces, selections on violin and viola, and a very moving speech presenatation about a pianist whose fingers were maimed during his innterrogation by Nazi officials and how he overcame his pain and deformity, by God's grace, the prayers and dilligent work of his wife, and his own perserverance, to continue his work as a professional pianist.
Congratulations Laurie! :-)
