Annick and I were on our way to the first all-day filming of David Thompson's pro-life film
" The Meaning of "Choice" ". It was 6 AM, and we were about 2.5 miles from the Thompson home where we would catch a ride down to the station. It was going to be a long, but exciting day :) You bet. Very exciting. Suddenly, a deer bounded in front of us, from the driver's side, and body-slammed into the hood! The deer actually survived, for how long is uncertain, all we saw was deer and flying plastic car parts. We had no injuries, thank the Lord, and were able to putter up the hill and park on the side of the road. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson came to our rescue with their support, car, and OnStar. The sheriff came to make a report, and we were on our way. And the day was just beginning!
