Labor Day treat at Past Tense...

Our Labor Day tradition is to go out for ice cream after dinner! This year we had to postpone the treat a day or two, as we had a crammed weekend schedule :) We drove over to Past Tense cider mill for our ice cream and enjoyed it outside, in the company of the mill's cats!

The D. and K. Murphys from Christ the King Church said to say hi to the Marshals when we were replacing their old furnace yesterday. Do you remember them? They remember back when you lived across from Oakland University, and the time Evvie got into their kitty litter box when she was little. We laughed about that. We told them that Mrs. Marshal inquiring about their old church, C.T.K. here when she was at the Bendixen home-church this summer. I told them about how big your girls have gotten and their participation in the LCO, and Annick's work at the stables with horses. Mr. Murphy was curious about what church you all are now attending. Mrs. Murphy was curious about what instruments the girls play. They enjoyed hearing recent news.
