A Meal At Eddy Acres

On Wednesday evening, we drove over to Eddy Acres for a relaxing evening of food and fellowship. We enjoyed a delicious meal of stuffed mushrooms (the appetizer), meatloaf, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, bread, salad, and dessert. Conversation and laughter ebbed and flowed as we enjoyed dinner. Thank you Eddy family for having us over, everything was delicious! We will have to return the favor one of these days.... 

Theresa's Meringues

Miss Theresa Eddy contibuted to the dessert choices with her delectable, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chip meringues. She adorned each meringue with a dollop of mocha mousse and a berry!

Mr. Eddy's crowning touch was a delicious berry cheesecake, which was absolutely scrumptious! 

Valentine's Day at the Marshalls

Following our yearly tradition, we had a special dinner and dessert, and enjoyed some cards and small gifts. This year our table didn't glow red, as it has in other years, from the decorations on and above it, but we did have our special red heart balloons, Papa's gifts to his four little valentines!  

"It is always winter, and never Christmas."

Our February dump, complete with LOTS of wind! 

Farewell Rambecks!

On Sunday we all gathered to send off the Rambecks to their new home in Ohio. They will be greatly missed, but we hope to see them again whenever they come up this way or we happen to be in their neighborhood. Blessings on the Rambeck family!

People gathered at the pavilion next to the courthouse to show their support, and to add their signatures to a petition, which when passed, will change the Michigan constitution to say that life begins at conception. To find out how you can sign go to
