Arizona Scrapbook

Our Arizona vacation began on March 4th, as Mama and we girls trooped into Metro Airport at 7 a.m. The 22nd trip to Sun City West to visit Grandpa and Grandma Steere for Easter was about to take flight! We arrived in time for lunch, and spent the rest of the day relaxing and unpacking our luggage.

Aunt Judy, from across the street, came over for homemade quesadillas and strawberry shortcake one evening!

Catrina made homemade donuts for Grandpa! He used to be a chauffeur, and received the donut-maker as payment for a drive.

Annick was able to borrow a 100-year-old cello from one of Grandma's friends to practice her concert music on!

Coloring eggs for placecards!

On Easter Sunday, we visited a local church, and helped Grandma tidy the house and make food for the annual Easter dinner. Grandpa and Grandma's friends have dinner with us every year, and these friends have become our "extended Arizona family"!

We organized the garage cabinets for Grandma one day, and Evvie and Catrina found new uses for old stuff!

A new-fashioned hearing-aid :)

Opera glasses, anyone?

On the day before we left to come home, we sat outside and smiled at the camera for the annual family photo. :)
